Within the subject individual spinning processes (opening, cleaning, mixing, elimination of short fibers, drawing, twisting, winding, ensuring mass evenness) are analyzed both in the theoretical and practical level. Attention is also focused on individual spinning systems (carding, combing, roving forming, spinning and plying) used in yarn spinning technology. The theory of formation of converter top is mentioned. Students are also deeply acquainted with the laws of transformation of mass unevenness.
