The course is dedicated to model test of the DELE exam that include listening, reading, speaking and writing. The test will be corrected and explained in the classes so that the students receive feedback. The course includes improving of practical skills.
KRO/KDS1 - Spanish Didactics 1 (2026)

The course is dedicated to strategies and methods of language training, with special attention to linguistic, psychological, motivation and evaluation aspects of teaching. Kinds of evaluation, making of test, the importance of error in the process of teaching form also an important part of the course. The theoretical knowledge will be used as a basis for class planning.
KRO/KGVS - Variants of Spanish (2026)

The course is dedicated to languages of Spain and historical and contemporary dialects of Spanish. The contemporary situation of the languages and their legal status are compared. The course focuses on phonetical, morphological, syntactical and lexical differences. Historical dialects include: mozarabe and caló. The main part of the course is dedicated to: hablas andaluzas, extremeňo, murciano, canario.
KRO/KJAZ - Language Politics (2026)
2026/27
The course is dedicated to basic problems of language use in society, the problems related to bilinguism and language politics in Spain and Latin America. Special attention will be dedicated to present the situation of indigenous languages in Latin America and their contact with Spanish. The students will obtain new information in this field and will present their own investigation in class.
KRO/KLT2 - Analýza a interpretace literárního textu (2026)
2026/27
The course is dedicated to different types of novel in Spanish and Spanish American literatures. The novel, being the most complex literary genre with an interesting evolution throughout the time, has a special place in the literatures of Spanish speaking countries. Special attention is paid to theories of novel and its evolution which will be employed during analysis of texts.
KRO/KNGR - Standardization of Spanish (2026)
2026/27
The goal of the course is to present basic issues regarding language standardization. The theoretical part of the course is dedicated to general problems of codification which has a long tradition in Spanish. The practical part is dedicated to the newest changes in the standard and the contemporary situation of Spanish.
In the classes, the students' language skills at the C1 level will be examined.
KRO/KSL3 - Stěžejní díla španělské literatury (2026)
2026/27
The course is dedicated to basic literary works of Spanish literature of different periods. One part of the course focuses on the literary, historical and philosophical context, the other part is dedicated to close reading of excerpts from the chosen texts.
KRO/KSOC - Sociolingvistika a metodologie výzkumu (2026)

Cílem kurzu je seznámit studenty se základními pojmy sociolingvistiky a demonstrovat je na příkladech klasických sociolingvistických studií. Pozornost bude věnována jak tradičním teoriím variace a jazykové změny, tak moderním kvalitativním přístupům ke studiu jazyka a společnosti. Pozornost bude věnována i kontaktu jazyků a jejich zániku. Velký důraz bude kladem na etiku lingvistických výzkumů a možnosti, jakými lze dosáhnout maximální ohleduplnosti k respondentům výzkumu. Na cvičeních budou analyzovány ukázky vybraných sociolingvistických studií korespondující s tématy přednášek.
KRO/KZAJ - Základy jazykovědy (2026)

Kurs je věnován úvodu do základní problematiky jazykovědy obecné i kontrastivní. Opírá se o nejnovější poznatky lingvistiky a věd pomezních s důrazem na potřeby studia. Přednáška bude klást důraz na obecnou lingvistickou problematiku a na poznání základní lingvistické terminologie.

KRO/PDKS - Dějiny a kultura Španělska (2026)

Výuka je zaměřena na získání základních poznatků ze španělských dějin, malířství, architektury a hudby s poukazem na jejich vzájemnou provázanost. Historie Španělska je komentována od počátků osídlení Pyrenejského poloostrova až po přechod Španělska od diktátorského režimu generála Franca k demokracii.

KRO/PFON - Fonetika a fonologie (2026)

Cílem předmětu je poskytnout studentům ucelený náhled na hláskový systém současné španělštiny. Teoretická část se věnuje především popisu jednotlivých fonémů vokalických, konsonantických a slovního přízvuku. V praktické části je kladen důraz na identifikaci jednotlivých fonémů a jejich přepis pomocí mezinárodní fonetické abecedy (IPA). Zvláštní pozornost je věnována výslovnostním problémům českých mluvčích a porovnání španělského fonologického systému s českým.

KRO/PHL1 - Hispanoamerická literatura 1 (2026)

The course provides students with literature of Latin American countries from the American Conquest and Spanish colonization to the literature of the period of the battles of independence in the 19th century, Latin-American romanticism with the generation of 1840 and 1870, modernism at the turn of the 19th and the 20th century and the literature of the first half the 20th century.

Cílem předmětu je prohloubení znalostí získaných v předmětech Dějiny a kultura Španělska a Dějiny a kultura Latinské Ameriky. Pozornost bude věnována nejdůležitějším historickým událostem, jejich podrobnému rozboru a jejich odrazu do současnosti. Předmět detailně seznámí studenty i s nejnovějším politickým vývojem, přechodem k demokracii a současnou politicko-sociální situací.

KRO/PMAT - Morphological analysis (2026)
2026/27
The subject focuses on practical aplication of Morphology from previous semester. The students will practice the analysis of texts with the objective to understand the structure of Spanish words. Special emphasis will be on periphrastic structures, prepositions and structures that are different from Czech. The requirement for the credit will be an analysis of a shorter (half page) text.
KRO/PMOR - Morphology (2026)
2026/27
The course gives the overview of parts of speech and structure and word-formation in Spanish. Basic morphological notions (classification of morphemes according to semantic and syntactic point of view, lexical and grammatical morphemes, alomorphs etc.), inflection, derivation and composition are discussed. The focus is given on the specific character of grammatical categories in Spanish in comparison with Czech.
