The aim of the seminar is to automate and improve practical German phonetics, with the aim of achieving fully comprehensible pronunciation and intonation without significant signs of Czech accent. The seminar is closely linked to the subject of Didactics of German Phonetics and it creates prerequisites for it in the form of flawless pronunciation. The seminar builds on the theoretical knowledge acquired in the compulsory subject of German phonetics and phonology and other seminars focused on phonetics from Bachelor studies. The theoretical part is focused on articulation and acoustic phonetics, phonological principles of speech production and perception in contrast to Czech language. Special attention is given to correcting individual phonetic errors.
