Within the subject student obtains knowledge related to the knitting machines, especially the functions and operating of weft and warp knitted machines (working device, programed control and pattern devices, yarn feeding and delivery system, fabric take down systems and controlling equipment of the knitting, etc.). There are also discussed topics related to knitting processes on both flat and circular machines and their productivity and patterning possibilities. It is also mentioned the preparation of material for knitting according to the machine technology and production.
