The course is to provide students with an overview of laboratory methods used to evaluate materials developed for tissue engineering. The lectures and seminars will discuss methods related to the evaluation of material biocompatibility, physical properties of materials and their biodegradability. Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject will provide information about methods (material characterization) used to evaluate the properties of materials for their future application. Laboratory exercises are focused on practical training of basic methods used in practice and knowledge acquired by students during lectures and study of recommended literature.
