Nursing practice is conceived as a practical subject, according to the plan of practical teaching at the university in the form of block teaching (one block always lasting at least 1 week). It enables students to apply the theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired by studying theoretical and practical disciplines in the professional classrooms of the school in the conditions of the health service provider and in the patients' home environment. It provides space for improving skills, skills and habits, teaching students independence, responsibility and teamwork. It takes the form of direct or indirect patient care, in accordance with applicable legislation and according to the practice plan in the conditions of the health service provider and in the patient's home environment. Teaching is conducted under the supervision of healthcare professionals authorized to pursue the medical profession without professional supervision. Students record activities, performances and other activities of nursing practice in the Journal of Professional Practice, which is prepared by the university. The professional practice diary contains summary information on the preparation and course of the practice. The workplaces of the provider of health and social services for the training of professional practice meet the requirements stipulated by the relevant legal regulations. Teachers with health and social services providers have practical training contracted. Nursing practice is preceded by teaching the corresponding theoretical subjects.
