The course is focused on the processes of separation and filtration of particles from the dispersion medium. In general, these phenomena are related to the flow of fluids through the porous material, especially the non-stationarity of the flow process due to the change in its structure. From this point of view, the course also provides the knowledge needed to verify the theoretical assumptions and simulations of flow through porous material.
