The subject matter of the course is to get acquainted to students with basic steps of clothing patternmaking procedure. The partial objectives are focused on study area of somatometry, typology of statures, body proportion and methods of design of clothing pattern net. Methods of body measurement and garment sizing systems are presented. Students acquire skills to use basic algorithm of clothing patternmaking using domestic and foreign methods, principles of garment pattern block styling and procedure of creation production patterns as well as. Students acquire skills to define pattern grading rules using computation method.
