Topic outline

Course objectives: The aim of the course is to develop oral language skills, i.e. listening and speaking, and also revise, further develop and consolidate language systems [vocabulary, grammar] knowledge, pronunciation and functions. The focus will be on language problems caused by interference. The attention will be also paid to the development of writing skills. The emphasis will be on the development of communicative competence in active learning activities.
CEFL levels
entrance level: developed B1 [receptive skills], developed B1 [productive skills]
final level: fully developed B1 [receptive skills], developed B1 [productive skills]
Requirements
To gain credit students must achieve at least 70% in both progress and final assessment tests, attend all classes (two absences allowed), complete weekly diaries, and participate in group discussions
October 2020 Online courses
Each week students will in addition submit one page diary online as well as completing coursebook activities
