The aim is to gain a comprehensive knowledge of fibrous structures for their use in applied research. Textile materials are used mainly as carriers for other functional components within a specific application. Deep knowledge of both the structure and the production technology of textile, resp. fiber system will allow targeted development of an application product with unique properties.
